Very excited to have the new website up and running. Thanks to Tom @ Untitled Studio.

Spent the last two weeks in Papua New Guinea making a mini doc for ABM on water sanitiation and managed to fit in a couple of days research for "I Am A Girl" film project. What an experience. Felt like a frontier town ... lock down at night behind electric and razor wire! PNG is a very complex but wonderful place. Hope to be back there in January.

Have been busy getting the trailer for my next film "I Am A Girl" finished. Check it out

Finally got onto the twitter thing - come and play ....

Day trip to Melbourne yesterday to check out the Xmedia Lab which was mindblowing - got a look at the future and although there is a lot to learn with new media it is such an exciting way to connect and interact with audiences. Which is what it is all about really isn't it?

Arrived home from the epic journey to Cambodia and India. The 7D DSLR which also shoots full HD video exceeded expectations with DOP Nicola Daley producing extraordinary footage. Very excited about the possiblities of this new camera. The stories we found are poignant and heartfelt and I can't wait to finish the trailer to show you all.

AIDC 2010 - excellent year for documentary in the city churches. Code Red was selected for Meet Market, an AIDC initative that facilitates meetings with local and international broadcastors and sales agents. Everyone loved the our hilarious new trailer which was supported with funds from Screen NSW, shot and edited by Bradley Howard with a pumping score by John Gray.

Back from a whirl wind week in Shanghai working on a gig for Spinefix. Got to exercise my basic Mandarin (ni hao ma) working with an incredbile Chinese crew. Shooting RED camera.

Just got back from the World Congress of Science and Factual Producers in Melbourne. Exciting to see such a high calibre of international broadcasters down under. Hopefully can make it to Dresden next year.

An article I wrote about INPUT was published in Screenhub. INPUT was an amazing weekend of screenings of the crème of public broadcasting from around the world. So inspiring to see such brave, funny and irreverent programs being made.

Was given a Highly Commended nod by the Australian Directors Guild Awards for direction in a Television Serial for one of my Home and Away Episodes. Was a fabulous night held at the Astral Bar and Restaurant. Good food, wine and company.

Unleashed is the ABC online forum, which presents diverse and robust opinion about politics, society, belief and behaviour. Great website to add your opinion to topical debates. Was asked to write an opinion piece about the latest footballer misdemeanours. Got a few things off my chest and caused a bit of a stir in the comments from the punters – free speech - love it!
